How very typical.

How very typical.

This is the best part:

“I probably overreacted, but I think it was entirely warranted. … They (Abrahamson and Justice Ann Walsh Bradley) are masters at deliberately goading people into perhaps incautious statements. This is bullying and abuse of very, very long standing.

Right, they pulled the string in your back that makes the words come out, and the real victim is the poor guy who was forced, forced I say!, to use the word bitch.

What a dork. So, it was -her- fault that he called her a bitch and said he would destroy her?

The hypocrisy is just too much.

Yeah, she made him do it.

Well of course, she made him do it:

“I probably overreacted, but I think it was entirely warranted. …

He "overreacted" (did the wrong thing) but it was "entirely warranted" (the right thing.)
And he wouldn't have behaved in the appropriate manner of doing the wrong thing if she had just stayed in the home where she belongs./

Just like this little treasure:

Republican Rep: Eleven Year Old Raped Because She Was "Dressed Like a Prostitute"

... Yes... That 11 year old and her prostitute like clothing made those 18 men rape her!

Wonderful misogynistic theme we have going here as of late from Republicans.

I love those non-apology apologies. And yeah, this whole problem would never have arisen if only Wisconsin had never appointed a women in the first place. /

Most epithets for men involve feminising them or claiming they're gay-- which, for the bigot, is a way of saying they're less than a man.

...

Right, they pulled the string in your back that makes the words come out, and the real victim is the poor guy who was forced, forced I say!, to use the word bitch.

LOL, Chatty Cathy.

The issue is less political than it is cultural, I believe. That is evidenced in media, workplace, etc.

That said, it is more likely that the Evangelicals will be riding the 'women are lesser' pony for a lot longer than anyone else. Given their current influence on GOP politics, cultural change (always a slow process) will become a slow motion affair.

Translation: How dare a liberal, capitalism hating woman have the unmitigated gall to disagree with me!

Ha! Yes, continual abuse I'm sure. It's the bitch's fault for being a bitch.

I think someone just really wants to be abused. ;)

Yawn another Republican official who doesn't take responsibility for his actions yet probably constantly praises himself and conservatives for doing so. You sir are a jackass.

This comes from a Supreme Court Justice????

Note the legal contradiction: “I probably overreacted, but I think it was entirely warranted. …"" Then it wouldn't be an overreaction if it was entirely warranted, would it?

Note that he admits he is easy to goad into saying what he shouldn't say. This is a supreme court judge speaking?

The judge is bullied and abused because he is not agreed with? How pitiful.

Too bad the male justices didn't go to law school--or else they would have encountered this terrible 'goading' thing every day and wouldn't be so helpless and vulnerable.
